This client sells plus size women’s clothing online, the campaign was £2000 a month and they have been on board for 5 months now. We’ve seen some great results. The data below shows comparisons between the date of the campaign start date and the preceding period.

Conversions?

In the attirbution channel we can also see Organic traffics role in improving the other traffic channels. Even though it was accredited to have 513.88 touchpoints, it also had 93.94 early touchpoints and 127.42 mid touchpoints. This essentially means that even though someone may have originally visited the site through paid search, Organic traffic also helped nurture them into a conversion. e.g. the early and mid points that led to that conversion!

As a result through Organic Traffic alone, we generated:

  • Additional Revenue: £28,211.15 (+37.48% from their total of £103,475.55)
  • ROI: 2.82 (for every pound they spent, they received £2.82 in return!)

Keyword rankings

This graph shows our page 1 rankings over time.

When we started, the client had 441 keywords ranking on page 1, and only 170 keywords ranked 1-3.

Today, they have 565 keywords ranking on page 1, with 309 keywords ranked 1-3.

That’s an additional 124 keywords ranking on page 1 in 5 months. 

Most importantly, its 139 more keywords ranking in positions 1-3. This is key real estate in the search engines as the top 3 positions generate 52-64% of all clicks on page 1.

My approach

  1. Identify their niche in the market. 
  2. On-page optimisations were put in place to actively target selected keywords, this included assigning keywords to the most suited page and optimising the title tag, H1 tag, meta descriptions, adding SEO content and optimising images.
  3. Performance was then tracked and reported on.
