Some web design agencies charge ridiculous fees or builds a bespoke website on custom code so any they can edit it, then charge you on expensive hourly rates on small updates….

I think this is very unethical. Where I differ is that I’ll create you a website on a very accessible platform and even teach you how to edit it, I want it to be clear that it is your website, and you should own it (not some other business).
